The composition features sine wave drones, transients, and noise, partly recorded using vintage scientific test equipment at Worm’s Waveform Research Center, and combined with digitally altered field recordings and samples.
Spread across the stereo field of the room, the behavior of sound interacts with the architecture of the space, altering resonances, reverberations, and spatial perception. The installation draws attention to how we perceive and engage with the space around us, highlighting the subjective nature of listening and interpretation.
