Studio.Niek van der Veer is a creative studio for graphic design, art direction, branding, and visual art. I work across physical and digital media to develop identities, publications, campaigns, and artworks that balance clarity with expression.

Rooted in visual storytelling, my approach is precise yet playful, combining conceptual depth with a sensitivity to material, rhythm, and tone. 

Moving fluidly between commissioned work and autonomous exploration, I translate ideas into visual systems and experiences that are both functional and poetic.

With an interest in contemporary culture, I draw on experimentation and contextual thinking to uncover the core of each story, resulting in design that is both informative and evocative. Collaborating with clients and partners across culture, music, art and literature, including event organizers, cultural institutions, artists, publishers, and labels.

In addition I am active in education, teaching art and design within various educational organizations and I’m the coordinator for an experimental art space, bringing youths and emerging artists in contact with making, learning, and exhibiting.
